Forget-Me-Nots
Personal Project
A two part project focusing on brand identity. Forget-Me-Nots is an idea for a fictitious record company selling curated mixes of songs by well and lesser-known artists that never quite made it to their top hits. Using the imagery of a forget-me-not flower, the brand stresses the importance of holding onto these wonderful pieces of music. Through blurred text, faded textures, and atmospheric album art, the visual identity of Forget-Me-Nots aims to create a strong sense of nostalgia for listeners.
The Inner Star
The Inner Star is an extension of the Forget-Me-Nots brand. The Star hosts concerts and community events for people interested in hearing artists perform or in participating in performance themselves. The Inner Star looks to the Forget-Me-Nots logo as well as the flower’s literal anatomy and draws out the star inside, utilizing bright, flashy colors and textures that reminisce with concert venues to create a space where everyone is invited to participate and/or find their own inner star.
