My goal for this personal project was to combine through graphic strategy artistic and scientific aesthetics to inspire a wider audience with handmade ceramics.

Kaolin or kaolinite is a name for soft white clays, essential in the production of porcelain. For this project I paired traditional typography with microscope imaging and screen-printed the results. Closeups of silicate imbued with polarized light show how beautiful ceramics are at a microscopic level.
